It’s hard for me to write this last part of my Rivet Riot history. For 3 1/2 years, my radio show has been my weekly respite from the stress and drama that is inherant in college life. I’ve met an astounding number of awesome people as a result of the show. Because of it, I’ve had opportunities that I had never even dreamed of. The support and love that all of my listeners have given me through the years- that all of you have given me, even if just by thanking me for playing one of your songs- has helped me through much more than you will ever know.

Thank you all for letting me be a part of your life, whether you were a constant, loyal listener or if you just occasionally skim my sets. Thank you for giving me something that I could look forward to every week. Thank you for being there for me, even if just in spirit.

It’s good to know that my efforts were not in vain.

Oh man. Tonight was so cool. Thanks to everyone who listened! I had a ton of requests, INCLUDING ONE PAID FOR WITH A TACO. Granted, I got the taco over the weekend, but still! Taco!

Mom had a great time being in the station. She was definitely tapping her foot and dancing around a little bit. I’ll definitely post the recordings of this show as soon as possible. Too much fun, and I’m pretty sure you’ll all understand me just a little bit better for hearing me interact with her.

Man, I really liked tonight. The stream was working, I had some people listening who hadn’t in a while (especially Nicki!), and the music was pretty awesome. Of course that’s my own opinion, so you can feel free to tell me I suck or something, too.
